About the Course:
Diving sidemount is a particularly useful skill in tec diving, allowing divers to more easily maneuver in caves, wrecks, or other overhead environments. The Tec Sidemount Diver course is a great way to get started with technical diving because the skills in this course will train you to handle multiple cylinders on a dive. You can easily combine what you learn in the Tec Sidemount Diver course with other open-circuit tec courses that you take, or certifications you’ve already earned, to take advantage of sidemount’s cylinder configuration.
Prerequisites:
- Be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver
- Have logged 30 or more dives
- Be at least 18 years old
- Certification as an Enriched Air Diver is recommended
