It’s quick, easy, and a good way to prepare for your next course or get ready for your next dive vacation.

Any certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel update should take a refresher, especially after being out of the water for 6 months or longer. 

Prerequisites

To take a refresher course, you must:

• Have a scuba diver certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course
• Be at least 12 years old

What you Learn

After you finish the knowledge assessment, you will complete the Confined Water Skills Preview. You will review information about each skill, why it’s important, points to remember when performing the skill, and view a short video clip. Completing this section before practicing is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed before attempting it under water.

In the water, your Waterdogs Scuba & Safety professional will help you regain comfort and confidence. You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

This course is particularly beneficial if you:

• Are an Open Water Diver course referral student who wants a refresher prior to making your open water training dives
• Are a Scuba Diver who wants to upgrade to Open Water Diver
• Haven’t dived in a while and want to get familiar again
