About the Courses

During the NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Certification, you will complete three courses:

• Rescue Scuba Diver - The NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver and NAUI Advanced Rescue Scuba Diver courses are for certified divers who desire additional training or orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions. Learn to perform surface rescues and rescues at depth, as well as risk assessment and how to mitigate risk underwater. Divers must be a minimum of 15 years of age to enroll in a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver course.
• Search and Recovery Diver - Whether someone dropped a phone off of a dock or lost a weight on a dive, learn the skills to find and recover lost items under water. Learn underwater navigation using a compass and natural formations, safety precautions, and how to recover objects using lift bags and other techniques. 
• One of the Following Electives:
  • Deep Diver
  • Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
  • Drysuit Diver
  • Wreck Diver (External Survey)
  • Night Diver
  • DFA Pro

The Scuba Gear You Use

Students must own or purchase a scuba-grade mask, snorkel, fins, and boots. Visit our store and we will help you obtain a personalized fit to optimize your comfort in the water. During this program, you may also be introduced to a dive light, lift bags, a dive flag/float, or other specialty gear.

Course tuition includes rental of all other required scuba equipment including buoyancy compensator device (BCD), weights, tanks, and gauges.
