Freshwater SCUBA Diving Trips
Each year we go on a variety of dive trips - fresh and saltwater alike. For our Tennessee and Kentucky natives, we are accustomed to freshwater diving. These are great trips for new divers wanting to gain experience in a new environment with similar conditions to that which they were trained in.

So, what's the difference? Freshwater diving occurs in rock quarries, lakes, and rivers.
Compared to saltwater, these freshwater environments often have lower temperatures and visibility. Marine life is not as prominent in freshwater environments either. However, freshwater diving offers many more opportunities for underwater cavern, cave, and wreck diving. Due to the colder temperatures, the advantageous preservation of underwater wrecks and artifacts make these environments especially appealing.
